Our Approach to Athlete Development

By focusing on our five pillars, we ensure athletes have the opportunities, resources, and support they need to grow as competitors, students, leaders, and individuals. These pillars guide our programs, partnerships, and investments as we work to build stronger athletes and stronger communities across Northern British Columbia.

Our Priorities in Action

The Chad Staley Memorial Foundation brings its five pillars to life through initiatives that create meaningful opportunities for athletes across Northern British Columbia. From providing athlete grants that help remove financial barriers, to supporting development programs such as the Canadian Sport School, the Regional Sport Science Centre, and mental performance resources, our work is designed to help athletes grow both on and off the field of play. Community events and fundraising initiatives further strengthen our impact by bringing people together, raising awareness, and generating the support needed to expand these opportunities. Each of these priorities plays an important role in advancing our mission and ensuring athletes have the resources they need to reach their full potential.
